 Relax

The Union Lake Sailing and Tennis Club (ULS&TC) is nestled in a charming patch of forest overlooking the sparkling water of the largest freshwater lake in southern New Jersey.  The 898-acre body of water is a popular draw for family and friends to gather and enjoy numerous nautical activities, and the modest sandy beaches allow space for relaxing in the sunshine and playing volleyball.  The ULS&TC is a private organization and welcomes new members each season.  The grounds are well kept, everyone works as a team to make sure the property is tidy, and all the accommodations ready for use.  A robust Board gently enforces the rules of the club, and compliance among members is strong.  Events, parties, and gatherings are commonly arranged by members at the board's approval.

 Sail

Members are allowed boat moorings and slips (for an additional fee). Permissable watercraft consist of various sailboats, small motorboats under 9 horsepower (per state requirements), kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats.  Racing season encourages healthy and vigorous competition among avid sailors. Races take place on Sunday afternoons in the summer.

 Tennis

The tennis courts are maintained yearly, with tournaments held on a regular basis.  The courts are set apart from the main clubhouse, so the 'thwack' of each rally is absorbed by the dense forest.  Members reserve the courts in advance to allow for an even distribution of assigned time among players.
